Mary Lee Pursell Schutter, 96 of Indianapolis passed away Jan 1, 2004. Mary was a Southside resident most of her life. She was the widow of Clarence (CJ) Schutter. Mary was a beautician for several years and a member of St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church and an IU Bobby Knight fan. She is survived by her son, James Schutter; nieces and nephews, Betty Jean Schorn; Robert Leroy Bryant; Jacqueline Mae Kelley; Patty Lee Sherfeld; James Evans and Wilma Jean Wolfley; numerous great nieces and nephews and dear and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Alva and Mattie May Pursell; brother, Glenn Pursell; sisters, Lorene Evans and Erma Bryant. Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove will hold visitation Sun Jan 4 from 3-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Mon Jan 5 at 10 a.m. in St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church. Burial: Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Note: Born 15 April 1907 in Putnam County.
