SAYLOR, Viola Sutherlin Clifford - Putnam

Viola SAYLOR, 84, of Russellville died Sunday morning June 21, 1959 in Vermillion County Hospital, Clinton after a long illness. She was born Jan 11, 1875, the daughter of Elijah and Elizabeth Triplett Sutherlin. Mrs. Saylor was twice married and preceded in death by both husbands.

She had lived on a farm near Portland Mills most of her life. Surviving are two sons: Omer Clifford, at home; Glen Saylor, Judson; two sisters, Mrs. Dolly Harbison of Greencastle and Mrs. Addie Hodge, Belle Union and a brother, Ray Sutherlin of Crawfordsville. She was preceded in death by 3 children.

Funeral rites were held Tuesday afternoon at McGaughey & Son Funeral Home, Russellville. Rev. Clayton Lowe officiated, burial in Pisgah Cemetery.
