CLARENCE SAYLOR SUCCUMBS AFTER EIGHT DAYS ILLNESS

NEW MARKET - Dec. 3,-Clarence Saylor, 29, years old, a prominent young farmer and auctioneer of this county, died in his home south of here yesterday morning at 7:30 o'clock from pneumonia. The death terminated an illness of eight days originating with influenza.

Mr. Saylor was born in l888, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milbert Saylor. He was known over the entire county and was one of the most promising citizens in the county. He was a member of the Baptist church and a devoted church worker. In society he was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge. He was active in social activities of the community.

He was married to Miss Maude Hoss May 17, 1911. To this union was born a daughter, Charlotte America. He is survived by his wife and daughter, parents, two sisters Mrs. Clarence Mllligan, Waveland, and Mrs. Frank Steele of New Market. Two brothers, Walter and Herbert both of New Market also survive.

Funeral services will be held from the residence Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock with Rev. J. M. Caldwell of Crawfordsville officiating. Interment will take place at the Masonic cemetery.
