SAWYER, Thomas - Putnam

Funeral services were held Friday at Freedom church, for Thomas Sawyer, 84, who died at his home Wednesday in Russellville. Mr. Sawyer was born in Fountain county, at Scott's Prairie, Indiana, November 19, 1858, a son, James and Hannah Sawyer. He was married August 23, 1891, to Nettie B. Pickett of Waynetown, she survives. Besides the widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Todd, Russellville, grandsons; Paul Blye, Ernest Blye of Roachdale and Richard Blye, Armed Forces, at Camp Livingston, Louisiana.
