SANDS, Clara Thompson - Putnam

Clara Thompson Sands, wife of H.R. Sands, of Bainbridge, died at Methodist Hospital Thursday January 17, she was 47. She was the daughter of John T. and Mary Thompson of Parke Co., Indiana. She is survived by her husband; two children, Ralph E. of Bainbridge and Mrs. Ralph Shockney of Ridgeville, her Father and mother, Brothers, Lawrence of Alva, Oklahoma, Dan of Roachdale, Lyman, Omer and Arthur of Parke Co., Three sisters, Mrs. Ida Bain, Parke Co., Lena at home and Nellie McGaughey, of Russell Township.    -- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker for donating her wonderful Roachdale Times obituary file for use on this site
