SANDERS, Deryl Lee - 1976 - Putnam

ROACHDALE – Deryl Lee Sanders, 75, of rural Roachdale, died Saturday in Golden Manor Nursing Home at Ladoga. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Roachdale Presbyterian Church. Born May 31, 1900, he was a son of Omer and Ellen Crosby Sanders of Jackson Township, Putnam County. He was married to Mary Joseph on Aug. 16, 1936. Survivors are his wife; a son, Joseph L. of Mentor, Ohio; three grandsons, Benjamin Lee, Christopher Lewis and Gregory Lance Sanders of Mentor; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Sutter Sanders of Mentor. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Perkins Funeral Home at Roachdale with the Rev. Leo Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.   – jlr
