RUNION, Melissa Fry - Putnam

Mrs. Melissa RUNION passed away Monday night at 10:20 at Culver Hospital following an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Runion was born Feb 15, 1884 at Greencastle the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abner FRY. She was married Aug 23, 1916 to Ira Clay Runion at Greencastle, who with a son survive. Other survivors include one sister Alice DETRO of Fincastle and a brother Abner G. Fry of Indianapolis. She was a member of the Methodist church at Roachdale. Funeral services were held at the Machledt Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon with Rev. McBrayer in charge and interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Pall bearers were: Melvin Weatherman; Raymond Greve; Ernest McCloud; Bill Machledt and Forrest Detro.   --- typed by kbz
