The death of David Rudisill, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Rudisill of this city occurred Saturday evening about 6 o'clock at the home of his parents on West Columbia street. He was 39 years of age. The cause of his death was cancer from which he had been suffering for many months. Mr. Rudisill recently was brought to the home of his parents in this city from Indianapolis, where he had made his home for the past several years. He is survived by a widow, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Rudisill, and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Darnell of Greenfield and Mrs. Ruby Lipps of Indianapolis. THe funeral was held on Monday at the home. The services were in charge of Rev. AM Hootman, pastor of the Christian Church of this city. The pall bearers were Carl Confer, Ralph Confer, Shields McCray, John H. James, James Hamilton and Robert Hamrick. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery. --- kbz
