RUARK, Hurtha Huffman - Putnam

West College Corner – Hurtha E. Ruark, 86, 406 Center St, died Sunday in McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, Oxford, Ohio. She was born in Greencastle, formerly lived in Indianapolis and had lived in West College Corner 23 years. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Putnam County and had been a nurses aide. She was the widow of Russell P. Ruark.  Survivors include a brother, Jacob R. Huffman of West College Corner. Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle where visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Filmore (sic) Cemetery in Putnam County. Friends may call from 6-8 Tuesday at Showalter-Blackwell, Baker Chapel College Corner, Ohio.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Emergency Medical Technicians Unit. – kbz
