ROUTT, Theodore "Dora" - Putnam

Cloverdale, Aug 7 – Theodore “Dora” Routt, 81 years old, of RR 1, Cloverdale, died Sunday evening at the Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. A retired brick mason, he was a charter member of Knights of Pythias Lodge No 369 of Cloverdale and was affiliated with the Modern Woodmen Lodge.  He was a member of the Universal Church at Cunot.  Surviving are three sons: Jonas of Cloverdale; Rufus and Edward, both of Cunot; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Cummings, Mrs. Myrtle Bowman, Mrs. Nancy Nives and Mrs. Irene Miller, all of Cloverdale; sister, Mrs. Della Barrick of Brazil; four brothers, Robert of Cunot; Walter of Los Angeles; George of South Bend and John of Brazil; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The body is at the Whitaker Funeral Home at Cloverdale where friends may call and where services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, followed by burial in Cloverdale Cemetery. - kbz
