Services for Ernest H. Roth, 69, Indianapolis will be at 3
p.m. today in Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Meridian Hills Mortuary. A native of Pozen,
Poland, who lived here 12 years, he died Wednesday in his home. The owner and operator of Bainbridge Grain
& Feed Elevator from 1950-67, he later was a grain merchant for Evans
Milligan Co, retiring in 1982. Former president of Bainbridge Volunteer Fire
Dept, he was a member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, Congregation Beth-El
Zedeck, Temple Brotherhood, Beth-El Zedeck Mens Club Bainbridge Masonic Lodge
and Bainbridge Chapter Order of Eastern Star. He was an Army veteran of WWII.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice or the American
Cancer society. Survivors: wife, Pearl Roth; daughters, Carolyn Hendrich;
Barbara Luskin and Judith Roth; stepdaughter, Michele Fleischman; stepsons,
David, Barry and Ronald Wides, mother, Kathe Rothholz. - kbz
