ROMINE, Irene Clodfelter - Putnam

E. Irene Clodfelter Romine, 97, Indianapolis, formerly of Putnam County died Jan 26. She worked 22 years for Eli Lilly & Co, retiring in 1965. She was a member of 7th and 8th United Christian Church and a 50-year member of Groveland Chapter of Order of Eastern Star. She helped found the Putnam County Women’s Fair in the 1920s. Memorial contributions may be made to the Putnam County Foundation, Greencastle or to the Clinton Township Scholarship Fund. Services: 2 p.m. Jan 29 in Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel with calling from 2-7 p.m. Jan 28. Burial: Union Chapel Cemetery, Morton.  She was the widow of Sanford Romine.  Survivors: children Julia J, Malcolm S. Romine. – kbz
