ROGERS, Martha Ellen Kent - Putnam

Mrs. Martha Ellen Rogers, 82, pioneer resident of Putnam Co., died at her home Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Rogers was born January 5, 1853 near Ashby Mills, Putnam Co., she was the daughter Anderson and Mary Kent. She married on April 20, 1871 to William C. Rogers, who died April 12, 1914. Survivors are three daughters; Mrs. Minnie Fry, Mrs. Mayme Williams, both of Indianapolis and Miss Mabel Rogers, at home; four sons; Asa, Arthur and Cleve all of Indianapolis and Claude of near here.
