ROGERS, Amanda Ellen Steel - Putnam

Mrs. Amanda Ellen Rogers, 78, died at her home southwest of here Sunday morning April 10. She was born in Franklin Township near here December 13, 1859, the daughter of Chatman and Mary Cole Steele. She married on November 6, 1879 to Thomas Rogers, who died September 24, 1932. Survivors are two daughters; Miss Betha Rogers and Miss Iva Rogers both at home, four sons; Eston and Laurel both at home, Walter of Rockford, Illinois, and Dan of Chicago, two grandchildren; Ellsworth and Phyllis Rogers of Rockford, Illinois, and one great grandchild, Geraldine Ann Rogers, One son died in infancy.
