In Memorium: at a meeting of the Blue
Ribbon Union of Greencastle on the 21st a committee was appointed to
draft resolutions expressive of the sentiment of the Union regarding the death
of our sister, Sarah Rockaway: That God, in his wisdom, having seen fit to
remove from our midst our believed sister, we feel that while we have lost a
zealous co-worker in the great cause of reform, and that temperance has lost a
faithful and high-souled disciple, yet our loss is her infinite gain, that the
Master has thus early permitted her to enter into her rest. Resolved that we
deeply sympathize with her afflicted parents and family in their sad
bereavement and we would remind them that the beloved one is even now tih Him
who, standing by the couch of death, said, “The maiden is not dead, but
sleepeth. GW Taylor; GB McKay; WE
