Death has once more crossed the threshold of
our little village and knocked at the door of the once happy home of Mr. and
Mrs. Will Roach and claimed as its victim darling little Edith. She was born
March 20, 1893 died March 7. 1894 aged 11 months 14 days. Little Edith was the
only child of kind and devoted parents and the pride of her papa’s and mama’s
heart and home, and was dearly loved by all who knew her sweet baby face.
Having a sweet disposition she won many friends and was always the center of
attraction. Being a very delicate child
she was a great care and has had every care that kind and devoted parents could
give her, always ready to fill every baby want. Oh! How sad and lonely the home
for baby is gone, but dear friends, your loss is her eternal gain, and she is
now basking in the smiles of the blest Redeemer, where pain and sorrow are
unknown.
