Cecil Frances Roach, only daughter of | John and Nannie Roach was born March 5, 1909 and passed away June ,21, 1931, aged 22 years, three months and 16 days. Her father passed away April 6, 1929, one brother died in in! fancy. We are called upon to mourn I the loss of this dear young girl . Her family physician, Dr. (Hutcheson, who brought her into the world, stood by her and saw her go out, and did all he could to help her. Cecil Frances leaves her mother, .one brother, Arvel and his wife Zella, three nieces, Katherine Lee, Margaret Ellen, Virginia Lucille, one nephew Thomas Garold Roach, besides many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. We may not know why death should come, To take our loved one from our home. The funeral was held at the McCurry funeral home June 23 in charge of Rev. Crowder and Rev. Beuler, after which the body was taken to the Clinton Falls cemetery for burial. The pallbearers were Louise Cox, Lois Varvel, Vietta Stites, Velva Sutherlin, Evelyn Goodman and Mrs. Dennis Baxton. The flower-bearers were Gail Alexander, Retta Welch, Martha Cox, Dora Fern Cox, Mary Louise Cox and Mary Goodman.
CARD Of THANKS We want to thank all who assisted us in any way through the sickness and death of our beloved daughter and sister. Mr. McCurry, the singers, pallbearers anl flower-bearers, the nurses, the ministers for their consoling words, and for the beautiful floral offering. Mrs. John Roach, Arvel Roach and family.

The death of Miss Cecil Frances Roach, age 22 years, daughter of Mrs. John Roach, Jacob Street occurred Sunday morning at about 7 o’clock in the Putnam County hospital. The young woman was operated on two weeks ago for a ruptured appendix. Following the operation her condition was good for a week then her condition gradually grew worse and for two days before her death she was critically ill. Funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in the McCurry Funeral home, Rev. WJ Crowder assisted by Rev. Bruiler will be in charge.
