RILEY, Verna - Putnam

Verna Riley, 89 of Plainfield died at 4:30 p.m. Monday in Indianapolis. She was the mother of Gene Riley of 2524 Pearl. Funeral arrangements are pending at Whitaker Funeral Home in Greencastle. Mrs. Riley was born June 30, 1888 in Greencastle to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hart. She was married to Raymond Riley in 1906 in Greencastle and he preceded her in death. Surviving with the son here are one daughter, Mary Riley of Indianapolis; another son, Gilbert Riley of Bloomfield. She was preceded in death by two sons. - kbz
