RICE, Joseph Franklin - Putnam

Paris, Illinois, Nov 24 – Funeral services for Joseph Franklin Rice 89 years old who died Saturday at his home will be at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at his home will be at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Ward-Sutton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dunlap Cemetery east of Marshall.  He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Emma Newell of Paris, Mrs. Bessie Cunningham of Champaign and Mrs. Mae Newell or Marshall; and a son, John Thomas Rice of Charleston. – Note: His children were born in Putnam County, Indiana – kbz
