REES, Nancy Randolph - Putnam

Mrs. Nancy Randolph Rees, 83, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Stafford Sunday morning. He was born August 9, 1853 in Putnam County, the son of Benjamin F. and Elizabeth Chastain Carter. She was married to John N. Rees, February 28, 1882. Survivors are two daughters; Mrs. Stafford, and Mrs. Eber Chastain of Indianapolis; two grandchildren; Charles and Robert Stafford of Roachdale, a sister, Miss Mary Carter also of this place and a brother, J. F. Carter of Newman, Illinois. She is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
