Mooresville, Ind Oct 28. – Dr. Amos W. Reagan died at his home in Mooresville Monday at 2 a.m. at the age of 81 years. The burial will be held at the Methodist Church Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Dr. Reagan was born and reared here and he had been a practicing physician for years, having retired two years ago. His death was due to pneumonia. Dr. Reagan was a member of former President Benjamin Harrison’s regiment, serving 3 years as a surgeon. Besides his widow he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Marion Loop of Chicago. Dr. Reagan will be remembered by the older citizens of Greencastle and the very few surviving students of Indiana Asbury University as a college student of the class of 1847. He was a charter member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and for some years prior to his death, the senior living member. – kbz
