Mrs. Eva F. Rambo, age 85 years, passed away at her home on West Walnut street Mon lay evening at 8:45 o’clock after a long illness. Mrs. Rambo was one of the oldest residents of the county and had been a resident of Greencastle for 36 years, having move I here from the farm in Clinton township. Mr. Rambo passed away in February, 1935. Deceased is survived by one daughter, Miss Hazel Rambo; a brother, S. E. Nelson, Omaha, Nebr., and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Mackey, Boone Iowa. She is also survived by six I cousins, James I. Nelson, Mrs. Charles Cooper and Mrs. Laura Marshall of Greencastle, and Mrs. Lou Wilson and Romulus Boyd, Russellville and Hog lan Spencer, Indianapolis. Mrs. Rambo was the daughter of William J. Nelson and Mary Lou Nelson, pioneer residents of Parke county, near the Putnam county line. She was born there and spent the greater part of her life in that vicinity, where she was widely known. Following the removal of the family to Greencastle. Mrs. Rambo became affiliated with the Methodist church and remained a loyal and interested member throughout her life.

The funeral services will be held from the Rector Funeral Home at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, with the Rev. John Tennant, pastor of the Gobin Memorial church, in charge. Burial will be in the Brick Chapel cemetery. Friends may call at the home on west Walnut street this evening and Wednesday.
