Mrs. Oakie Rambo, age 79, a former resident of Russellville, died Thursday morning in the Community hospital in Anderson. She was born, Jan 28, 1889, in Russell Township, a daughter of George W. and Mary Nettie Grimes Potter. Mrs. Rambo, who had lived in Anderson the past 22 years was a member of the local Church of Christ and a 20-year member of O. E. S. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Erma McCord of Anderson; a granddaughter; a brother, Roy Potter of California; four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Lawter and Mrs. Gladys Spencer, Russellville, Mrs. Grace Maddox of Evansville, Mrs. Devota Berry of Crawfordsville; at the United 'Church of Christ with Rev. J. J. Saalwaechter officiating with burial in the Union Chapel cemeter, near Morton.
