RAMBO, Alonzo - Putnam

Alonzo RAMBO, former merchant at Milligan, died in the Methodist hospital at Indianapolis on Thursday night of last week, following an operation for suspected cancer. Funeral services were held at the Federation Church in Russellville on Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. HL TODD. Mr. Rambo was the s/o Samuel and Molly Rambo and was born at Portland Mills in 1884. He is survived by his wife who was Miss Oka PORTER and an adopted daughter, Irma Rambo. For a number of years he was in business in Milligan with Charles M. MOORE and after Mr. Moore removed to Waveland, he continued the business until obliged to retire on account of ill health. He was a member of the Russellville Federated Church and Masonic Lodge.
