Funeral services were held at the Chastain funeral home here Wednesday morning for Henry F. Rahn, 56, and a short service was held in Tuscola, Illinois that afternoon. Burial was made at Tuscola, near where he was born. Mr. Rahn was a former Roachdale resident and had been a janitor in the courthouse at Greencastle until recently when ill health forced him to retire. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Oscar Page near North Salem Monday evening after an illness of three months. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mr. Rahn was a janitor in the public schools here prior to moving to Greencastle 18 months ago. He was a member of the Methodist church. He was born May 25, 1886, near Tuscola, Illinois, a son of John and Mary Rahn. He married February 5, 1913, to Pearle Offenstien, who died October 19, 1924. Mr. Rahn moved to Roachdale about ten years ago. Surviving besides the daughter at whose home he died are another daughter, Miss Dorothy Rahn of Indianapolis; one son Paul Rahn of Kingman, one grandson Donald J. Page of near North Salem; two brothers; Hans Rahn of near here and Alfred Rahn of Longview, Illinois and three sisters; Mrs Earl Jones, Mrs. P.S.
