Mrs. Emma Joslin Ragain age 81 died at her home at Fillmore Sunday morning at 2:30 o’clock after an illness of several years duration. Mrs. Ragan has been a resident of the county for many years and is a sister of Misses Rose and Hattie Joslin who reside on south College Avenue. The deceased is also survived by four children: Miss Edith Ragan of Charleston, Ill; Harry of San Bernadino, Cal; Nellie and Clarence at home. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at the Fillmore Methodist Church with Dr LR Eckardt in charge. Interment will be in Fillmore cemetery. ~~~transcribed by kbz

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Ragan, aged Fillmore resident, were held this morning at the Methodist Church at Fillmore with Dr. LR Eckardt in charge. Interment was in the Fillmore cemetery. Mrs. Ragan died at her home Sunday. ~~~transcribed by kbz
