Donald Eugene Pyle, 55, a native of Russellville, died Saturday in San Francisco, Calif., where he had been a hotel clerk the past seven years. Born December 19, 1908, Mr. Pyle was the son of San and Addie Jones Pyle. He was a member of the Marshall Federated Church and Terre Haute Elks Lodge. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Daphne Webber of Indianapolis, Mrs. Evelyn Anderson of Gasport, N.Y., Mrs. Nettie Huffman of Rockville, and Mrs. Euphia Swaim of Marshall, four brothers, Wesley Pyle of Lafayette, Ferris Pyle of Rockville, and Lennie and Clarence Pyle, both of Marshall, and several nieces and nephews. The parents and a brother and sister preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at the Davies-Tudor Funeral Home at Marshall at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery. Rev. Dale Hamilton will be the officiating minister. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.
