Roachdale – Charles Anderson Purcell
of Roachdale died in the Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle Thursday morning. He is survived by the wife, Ellen;
three daughters, Mrs. Roberta Patrick of Indianapolis; Mrs. Tom Bernard of
Portsmouth, Va and Miss Glenda Lee Purcell at hoe; three sisters, Miss Elna
Pudcell (sic – Purcell); Mrs. Sally Lawyer and Mrs. Alice Spellman, all of
Terre Haute; four brothers, Oscar and Ray, both of Terre Haute; Earl of Logansport
and Carl of Morristown, NJ and three grandsons. Services will be held at 10:30
a.m. Sunday at the Perkins Funeral (Home) in Roachdale. Burial will be in the
Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call afternoon Saturday at the funeral home. - transcribed by kbz
