Priest, George - Putnam

Mr. Priest was a prominent citizen of the county and for many years and resided near Bainbridge in Monroe township. He was a native of Kentucky and removed to Putmam county when but a boy. He was Representative in the State Legislature from Putnam in 1863 and 1877. He was over seventy years of age. The remains were interred in Brick Chapel cemetery. Elder O.P.
