Bainbridge, Ind April 8 – Mrs. Dulcena Priest, 96 years old, widow of James P. Priest, former Bainbridge Justice of the Peace, died last night at her home. Mrs. Priest born near Mt. Sterling, Ky moved to Indiana with her family when she was 4. She had lived in Bainbridge 50 years. Survivors are two sons, Albert of Bainbridge and Shelton of Oakland, Cal; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Bainbridge Wednesday morning. - kbz

Mrs. Dulcina Priest, well known resident of Bainbridge died Sunday evening at 7 o’clock at the home of her son, Albert Priest in Bainbridge. She was born Feb 26, 1844 at Mt. Sterling, Ky and came to Indiana at the age of 5  years.  She spent her early life four miles south of Bainbridge on the Ashton Priest farm. At 15 years of age she became a member of the Christian Church at Bainbridge and on April 4, 1861 she was united in marriage to James P. Priest. Mrs. Priest had lived in Bainbridge 50 years. Surviving are two sons, Albert with whom she made her home and Shelton of Oakland, Cal and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:20 o’clock Wednesday morning from the Christian Church in Bainbridge in charge of Rev. Bratton. Burial will be in the Bainbridge cemetery. - kbz
