Services for C. Reid Priest, 74, Greencastle, an attorney and former Indianapolis Business owner and developer, will be at 10 a.m. Sept 29 in Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with calling from 3-6 p.m. Sept 28. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. He died Sept 25.
A 1980 graduate of Indiana University School of Law, Mr. Priest was an attorney. He was a 1948 graduate of Purdue University. Previously, he owned Thiele heating and Air Condition, Indianapolis and was a land developer in Avon with CRP Development.
An Army veteran, he served in WWII and the Korean War and was a member of Greencastle American Legion Post.
Mr. Priest also was a member of Oriental Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, ELks Lodge 1077, Greencastle and the alumni associations of Purdue and IU.
