Final rites for Francis E. Price, for 20 years a photographer on The Constitution staff were conducted at 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon from the chapel of J. Austin Dillon company.  The Rev. JW Caldwell, pastor of the Westminster Presbyterian Church officiated while interment was in Greenwood cemetery. Through his long association with newspaper photography, Mr. Price was widely and favorably known in Atlanta and throughout the state.  He was regarded by his employers as a man of great merit and worth, steady in his work and faithful in the discharge of its duties.  Mr. Price, whose residence was 957 Ponce de Leon Avenue, was a pioneer aerial photographer here, his early commercial pictures resulting in a widespread use of this means of commercial photography.  Working with Beeler Blevins, Candler field pilot, he obtained many views of Atlanta and vicinity which have attracted considerable attention locally..  He is survived by his widow and three children: Sarah Florence Price, Margaret Estelle Price and Francis E. Price, Jr. The pallbearers were James A. Hollomon, associate editor of the Constitution; Henderson Hallman, prominent Atlanta attorney; GC Hill, Kenneth Rogers, a photographer associated with Mr. Price on The Constitution staff; JA Hubbard, mechanical superintendent of The Constitution building; Mr. Blevins and JT Holloway.  – kbz
