POYNTER, ELizabeth Risk - Putnam

Poynter, Elizabeth F. a Parkersburg resident died at her home Monday, following a brief illness. She was 83. She was born 16 February 1860 in Fountain Co., Indiana, the daughter of John A. and Susan Hersh Reath. On 14 January 1893 she married William R. Poynts, who preceded her in death. Ms. Poynter was a faithful member of the New Market Christian Church.  Survivors, are two sons John and Newton Poynter of Parkersburg, a daughter, Mrs. Rachel Davis also of Parkersburg, three brothers, Ben Reath of Alamo, Frank Reath of Lebanon, and Newton Reath of Indianapolis, three grandchildren, one great grandchild. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, two sisters and a brother. -msw
