POWERS, Thelma Bugg - Putnam

Powers, Thelma Lee, 36, a former resident of Bainbridge community, died at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis Sunday.  Mrs. Powers, whose home was at 4319 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, was the wife of Roy E. Powers, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Bugg of Indianapolis, well known here.  She was born in Groveland 28 November 1908, and had lived in Indianapolis the last eighteen years. Survivors besides the husband and parents include an infant son, James Roy Powers; three sisters; Mrs. Mearle Trump, Mrs. William Degischer, Indianapolis and Mrs. Walter Pritchett, Ladoga. A brother William Bugg, Indianapolis.  Funeral was held Tuesday in the Campbell Funeral Home in Danville with burial in the Bainbridge Cemetery. - msw
