Charles M. Porter Rites Wednesday
Charles M. Porter, 84, died Sunday at Rockville.
He was born on Nov. 9, 1878, in Putnam County and was the son of Alexander and Martha Johnson Porter.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Portland Mills Church.
Survivors include six sons, Leo of Mishawaka, Glenn and James, both of Indianapolis, Russell, Beta Field, Wis., Harley, Carbon, Ind., and Robert Porter, Rockville; a daughter Mrs. Beulah Comer, Indianapolis; a sister Mrs. Elsie Thompson, Roachdale; a brother, Roy Porter, Greencastle; 14 grandchildren and, 17 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Barnes Mortuary in Rockville where friends may call.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. C. C. Griggs at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Portland
Mills Church. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
