John H. Pollom, 97 of Landisburg RD 2, died Tuesday in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield. He was the widower of Florence S. Pollom, was a retired farmer, an Army veteran of WWI, a member of VFW Post 7463, New Bloomfield and the American Legion Post 177, Newport. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville with Rev. E. Levain Fouse officiating. Burial with military graveside services will be held in Restland Cemetery, Loysville. Friends may call one hour before the service Friday at the funeral home. – kbz
