PING, James Logan - Putnam

James Logan Ping, who has been seriously ill for several days died on Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services were held at the Russellville Christian Church yesterday morning. Burial in Russellville Cemetery. He was born in Pulaski County Ky March 31, 1848. He served as a teamster in the Civil War being then 17 years old. His wife died 4 years ago. He leaves 7 children: Mrs. RF Singleton and Mrs. Arch Baston of Nelson, Ky; Mrs. Arch Davis of Dayton O; Lue, George, James J, Luther and Ethel.
