Ralph J. Pierson, 81, the father of Hubert B. Pierson of Martinsville and Indianapolis resident, died recently in the Methodist Hospital after an extended illness. A native of Groveland, he was born Aug 4, 1898 to Edgar and Nora Michaels Pierson. His wife was the former Louise Richardson, a former resident of Martinsville and she survives. Pierson lived most of his life in Indianapolis and retired in 1967 from the Johnson Chevrolet Co where was an automobile and truck salesman. - kbz
