PIERCY, Elizabeth Sluff - 1897
ELIZABETH SLUSS PIERCY
Note: On findagrave
it states she was born 13 May 1843 died 27 March 1898 but this is CLEARLY 1897
(I double and tripled checked) and since she died “Saturday” she would have
died 27 November 1897 - just an FYI if
you’re researching this family. She
received John’s pension 8th Indiana Battery Indiana Light Artillery
beginning April 12, 1897 – he was born 9 March 1840 and died 2 March 1897
