PICKETT - Ruth BUgg - Putnam

Ladoga – Mrs. Ruth Pickett, 86, mother of Mrs. Lloyd (Lillian) Killion of Battle Ground, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in Golden Manor Nursing Home in Ladoga. She had lived at the nursing home since Nov 1983.  Born Sept 15, 1898, near Greencastle she had spent most of her life in Ladoga. Her marriage was Aug 30, 1916 to Walter Pickett, who preceded her in death.  A homemaker, Mrs. Pickett was a member of Ladoga Christian Church.  Surviving with the daughter, Mrs. Killion are three other daughters, Mrs. Roy (Madonna) Ground of Indianapolis, Mary Joyce Pickett of Ladoga and Judith L. Pickett of Zimbabwe, South Africa; two sisters, Mrs. William (Lucille) Degischer of Indianapolis and Mrs. Mearl (Ellen) Trump of Fort Myers, Fla; and one brother, William Bugg of Indianapolis. Service and burial will be Tuesday in Ladoga. – kbz
