PICKETT, Minerva - Putnam

Miss Minerva Pickett, aged 73 years passed away at 11 o’clock yesterday of cancer after many months of illness at the home of her brother Gilman Pickett near Reelsville.  Yesterday was the birth of Miss Pickett and her many friends were grieved to hear of her death for she is one of the well known women of that vicinity. The funeral services will be held at the residence at 11 o’clock Sunday; interment in the Boone cemetery. – kbz
