PICKEL, Wilmer Raymond - Putnam

Crawfordsville, Ind – Wilmer Raymond Pickel, 73 years old, former Crawfordsville resident, died yesterday in his home at 1724 Panama Avenue, Indianapolis.  A native of Putnam County, Mr. Pickel was a resident of Crawfordsville most of his life. Since leaving here he had worked at the Allison Division of General Motors in Indianapolis.  Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Mary Pickel; two sons, Robert Pickel of San Gabriel, Cal and Thomas Pickel of Tucson, Ariz; a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Smith also of Tucson and two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Elliott and Mrs. Rachel Terry both of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. .Saturday in the Bright Funeral Home at Crawfordsville. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
