PICKEL, Mary Hillis - Putnam

Mrs. Mary Pickel, 68, died at her home near Carpentersville Tuesday evening. She was born in Putnam County, July 27, 1869, the daughter of David and Mary Ann McCorkle Hillis. She married David A. Pickel, March 11, 1896. Survivors are the husband, daughter, Lucille Pickel at home, sons; Gayle at home, Clifford of Roachdale and Sterlin and John both of Indianapolis; a brother Ira Hillis of Ladoga, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at Chastain funeral home.
