Louis C. Pfeiffenberger Sr. died this morning at the family residence on north Madison Street, after an extended illness of consumption. Mr. Pfeiffenberger was a young man of much promise, being a printer by trade. After learning his trade here he visited the east and west, working in many of the largest cities, being located for some time to Pittsburg. He returned home several months since, broken in health. He was 25 years of age. The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon. – kbz
