Mrs. Perkins, wife of Wm. Perkins died at the family residence on north Indiana street at 2 o’clock Monday morning after an illness of a number of days of heart trouble and an attack of the grippe. Mrs. Perkins was 78 years of age and had resided a long time in the city. She was the mother of Wm. Perkins and Oran Perkins of Clinton Township; Elam Perkins of New Maysville Ira Perkins and Mrs. Mary Shonkwiler of Benton county. They were all present at the death except Elam. The funeral occurred on Wednesday with interment at Union Chapel cemetery. - kbz
