PERKINS, John Clarence - Putnam

John Clarence Perkins, age 56 years 11months and 19 days, son of Reuben and Virteous Perkins. He was born in New Brunswick, Boone Co., Indiana December 19, 1880 and died November 24, 1936, at the home of his brother Carl Perkins of North Salem. He was from a family of ten children; six brothers and three sisters, (only ones mentioned are; Orville Perkins, of Roachdale; Laurel of North Salem and sister, Mrs. Myrtle Buchanan of Roachdale.) His father, mother and three brothers preceded him in death. He married Cora Wendling August 2, 1922, who died a few years ago. Funeral services were held at Roachdale Chastain funeral home Thursday morning with internment in Roachdale cemetery.   ---Thanks so much to Marilyn Walker for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection.
