William Edwin PECK, aged 76 years died at Browns Valey Tuesday. Mrs. Peck was married to Laura Blanche Fraley at Linden Indiana 13 Feb 1896. Survivors are the wife, two daughters, Mrs. Richard McWilliams and Miss Gertrude Peck of Indianapolis, a son William Peck of Browns Valley and a sister, Mrs. WA Durham of North Manchester. Funeral service Thursday. Burial at Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, Indiana   --- typed by kbz

The death of William Edwin Peck, formerly of Russellville and Greencastle, occurred at his home at Browns Valley Tuesday. He was born in 1859, the son of Benjamin and Mary Peck of Greencastle. William Edwin Peck, 76, died at his home in Browns Valley at 6:30 o’clock, July 28, 1936. Mr. Peck was born in Greencastle on Oct. 31, 1859 the son of Benjamin Stevenson and Margaret Black Peck. He was educated in Greencastle schools and DePauw. His life work was farming near Greencastle and Waveland. He was VP of the Russellville Bank, a member of the Masonic Lodge and for 25 years an officer in the Presbyterian Church at Waveland. Mr. Peck is survived by the widow, Mrs. Lura Fraley Peck; two daughters, Gertrude Peck and Mrs. Richard McWilliams of Indianapolis; and one son, William Fraley Peck of Waveland. Funeral services were held at Waveland Presbyterian Church at 1:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon with Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.    ---Submitted by Karen Zach
