PAXTON, Lea - Putnam

On Thursday afternoon of last week occured the death of Lea Paxton age 60. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan L. Paxton of Greencastle. He was born March 23, 1875. Mrs. Paxton died March 1, 1935. They were the parents of George and Kenneth of Indianapolis, Edgar of Pittsburg, Pa., Marie and Jeanetta Paxton of Greencastle.; Mrs. A.C. Rhorer of Cincinnati, Ohio and Mrs. Dora Sweet were sisters of Mr. Paxton. He was a member of Co. I 1st Reg. Indiana National Guard. He served with Co I 159th Indiana Vol. Infantry, serving 1898.
