PARKER, Doris Kelly - Putnam

Doris K. Parker, 94, Coatesville, passed away Friday evening, Dec 22, 2006 at Autumn Glen in Greencastle. She was born in rural Coatesville, IN on May 24, 1912 the daughter of Glenden and Grace Ader Kelly. She attended the Coatesville grade school and graduated from Amo HS in 1930. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, living on the farm for 90 years. On Oct 31, 1934 she married Roy E. Parker and he preceded her in death on Jan 5, 1984.  She is survived by her son, Drs. Willis G. and Linda Parker, Clayton; a daughter, Willa Dean and Durbin Yeager, Coatesville; grandchildren, Dr. Eric G. Parker, Milwaukee, WI, Lisa Parker-Gummere (Jeff), Danville; Christopher F. Yeager (deceased) and Alan M. Yeager (Abby) Coatesville; great grandchildren, Logan and Adam Yeager and Erica and Anna Gummere; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Robinson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec 27, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, burial Coatesville cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec 26 from 3-8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her honor for music education to Hendricks Community Foundation, 5055 E.
