Monticello – James F. Paris, 73 of
Monticello Rt 3, died of a heart attack Monday morning at 10 o’clock in a
physician’s office in Monon. The well known man was born in Putnam County,
Indiana Sept 12, 1885 and came to the community as a farmer 55 years ago. He
was the son of William and Elizabeth Paris and was married to Pearl
Kellenburger Aug 12, 1908 at Monticello. He was a member of the Guernsey
Brethren Church. Surviving are the widow,
two sons, Louis Albert of Indianapolis, and Arthur of Delphi; also daughter
Mrs. Opal Foster, Monticello and Mrs. Audrey Hord of Canton, Ohio; a sister,
Miss Nannie Paris of Monticello, Rt 3 and 15 grandchildren. The body is at the
Stewart Funeral Home at Monon where friends may call and where funeral services
will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The Rev. LeRoy Dick will
officiate and burial will be in Bedford Cemetery. - kbz
